How to Make Your Custom Vinyl Record

Upon checkout, you'll receive an email with a link to your Freestyle Vinyl Upload Center dashboard.

Upload your files, review, and submit. We'll take it from there!

We cut your record, and probably have a dance party while listening to your awesome music.

You get to enjoy the coolest, most unique vinyl record known to man – your very own Freestyle Vinyl!

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR YOUR CUSTOM VINYL RECORD:

Orders ship 1-3 weeks after you order.
Our 7" records are small (1/4") hole records. If you would like a large (1.5") hole vinyl (black vinyl only), email us at contact@freestyle-vinyl.com once you order to confirm that choice.
In a rush? Select "Front of the Line" service at checkout and your record will be shipped within 2 business days (5 days with a custom jacket)
You cannot use links to songs from subscription services like Apple Music or Spotify to build your custom vinyl record! You must have files available to upload.

With Freestyle Vinyl, the upload process is super simple and straightforward. Create your own vinyl record from your dashboard in the Freestyle Vinyl Upload Center, building step-by-step from audio to artwork to playlist review and submission.

Please note that custom center labels are not handled within the Upload Center. If you would like to apply your own center labels to your custom vinyl record, please reach out to us at contact@freestyle-vinyl.com!

AUDIO FILES

You can make your own custom vinyl record (or short run vinyl pressing) with any type of audio, from voice messages to music. Please note that our Upload Center can accept unencrypted MP3, M4A, MP4, or WAV files.

ARTWORK FILES

You can build your record with a custom record jacket, or with one of our pre-set options. If including custom artwork in your purchase, the Freestyle Vinyl Upload Center can accept JPG/JPEG or PNG files for your custom jacket artwork.

Please ensure that your artwork follows our guidelines:

Our system requires all jacket files to be at least 1,000 pixels tall / wide
We recommend that your files be at least 1,500 pixels tall / wide to print clearly
On your front jacket image, keep all important text at least 1/2" off the edge, to account for bleed / wrapping. Text that is pushed all the way to the edge of your front jacket will almost certainly be cut off!

Your custom 7" record can come with a blank white jacket, or a custom jacket made of your own artwork. If you are purchasing your vinyl record with a custom vinyl cover, please be aware of the specifications and recommendations below:

Our system requires at least 1,000 pixels tall / wide in order to print your custom vinyl covers
We recommend at least 1,500 pixels tall / wide to ensure the highest possible quality print
Keep all important text at least 1/2" off the edge of the front jacket design, to ensure that nothing is cut off
The back jacket will print 'true' with no bleed / wrapping.
Keep it PG-13: we do review artwork for sexually explicit or offensive material.

Hi James - thanks for the review! We print exactly what you submit, and do not add any custom elements to your jacket. That way we ensure you get exactly what you require. All track lists are printed on the standard center label though!
